Aluminum Gravity Die Casting is also called aluminum gravity casting. It is a permanent mold casting process for aluminum alloy, to produces very high quality surface finishes with thin walls and cast-in inserts so intricate shapes can be cast rapidly. It is the perfect choice for applications that require a solution that’s somewhere in between sand casting and high-pressure die casting.
Aluminum gravity die casting requires lower investment costs than high pressure die casting, but more durable and smooth surface than sand casting thanks to the usage of a steel die. A die is a permanent form that consists of two halves.
